Fretwork
It's all about the small detail
Heat Removal
To remove your old worn frets and to minimalise chipping
Correcting the Board
(Resurfacing the board and removing years of wear)
And if anything has moved over the years, now is the time to get it straight. The straighter the neck the better the end result,
Fine Tune Radius
(So the fret-wire seats correctly)
Sanding through the grits 80,120, Re Cut the fret slots, continue sanding 240,400,600 (800,1200 for Ebony and to remove any sanding scratches from the inlays)
Frets pressed
(Puts less strain on the board then hammer fretting)
Frets glued In (inhibits future movement from seasonal fluctuations)
Frets glued in improves resonance due to lack air and a tighter snugger fit with no dead notes
Please contact me about your re-fret
there are far too many variables when it comes to re-frets
