Rickenbacker 4001 - Broken Headstock

This poor Rickenbacker 4001, had seen better days. When her owner had in the heat of the moment, had a big tanty and smashed her. There were big chips missing.

This was definitely a job for epoxy,

I Vaseline the truss rod and nut, so the epoxy doesn't glue the truss rod

in it's permanent position.

End result... Well its a bass again. Truss rod works and its setup to 45-105

and lives to fight another day.
